Just two blocks from Forsyth Park and two blocks from Whitefield Square, this colorful, design-forward home combines historic details like exposed brick, hardwood floors, and an original staircase with bold print, saturated color, and plenty of personality.

The main floor has an open layout connecting the living room, dining room, and private courtyard. The comfortable living room has plenty of seating and a flat-screen TV, while a half bath is tucked beneath the staircase. The compact, fully equipped kitchen overlooks the courtyard, keeping everyone connected while meals and morning coffee are being made. Upstairs, you’ll find both bedrooms, a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination, and a separate laundry room. The primary bedroom has a king bed, a large TV, and plenty of space to settle in. The second bedroom has two twin beds, making it a great option for kids or friends traveling together. The private courtyard offers a quiet spot for morning coffee or an evening drink after exploring the city.

Location is one of Penance’s biggest perks. Forsyth Park, Savannah’s largest green space, is just a two-block walk, as is Whitefield Square, a popular spot for Savannah weddings. Mate Factor Cafe is on the block for organic coffee, maté teas, and house-made pastries, while Kroger, the only full-service grocery store in the Historic District, is about a two-minute walk away. What is parking like at this home?
This home has free, on-street parking right outside the front door. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends, though please be mindful of posts street sweeping schedules.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.
