Lovely location and friendly staff. Nice coffee in the morning, and had some amazing looking donuts, which I sadly do not eat. Also had popcorn in the evening which was awesome. Was an excellent place for my dog and I to stay and be very close to downtown.

Funky place that is lovingly cared for. Desk staff were personable and professional. I had a temperature/thermostat issue and they did their best to address it. Walking distance from so many things. If you are a walker this is the perfect starting point, and the city dot bus comes a block away. If you want plush, this isn’t the place. I’ll return.

Room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. We could not get the tv to work, and the chain to lock the door was missing. Overall, we had a good stay but I wish their tv situation was better.

Loved the vibe of this hotel for a recent girls trip with my best friend! Staff was amazing! Room was clean and so cute with the RC colas & moonpies when we arrived! Easy parking and very confidently located to everywhere we planned to visit. Felt extremely safe & we had no issues with noise. I’ve stayed at all kinds of places in Savannah and would definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and smelled clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. I just loved the nostalgic vibe. They have RC cola and Moon Pies in the room for you. Popcorn and lemonade in the lobby. The breakfast they had went above my expectations. They were fresh and gourmet style. Apple fritters too We brought our dog and even she got a special wrapped big biscuit. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely would recommend staying here.

Cool hotel with retro vibe. Made for a fun stay for a short trip to Savannah. Free doughnuts and the moonpies around the property were a fun touch. Staff were all friendly and you are a quick walk or a cheap Uber to local attractions. Beds were super comfortable, but the small sitting area in the room was not very comfortable or functional. My only caution is that the air conditioner in the room was not able to keep the room very cool. I would not return in warm months. We asked the desk for assistance and the maintenance person directed us to use a boost option on the unit, however, that only stays on for a couple of minutes at a time, leaving us having to reactivate this option every 10 minutes or so...not very helpful. Overall, enjoyed the stay, but would not return.

This was our second time staying at the Thunderbird Inn. The rooms are always clean and the beds are really comfortable. The donuts at breakfast are fresh and giant. We will be back!

The staff was so friendly. We got there earky and room wasn't ready but she offered to call me when it was. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Donuts for breakfast were phenomenal. Just a note on the TV. No channels, you can cast streaming from your phone though. No hair dryer either. RC Cola and moonpies in the room was a fun touch. Great price would stay again.

The staff is incredible. We loved the yummy donuts and coffee at breakfast. The room is very noisy and the mini split doesn’t cool the room. Also, the steps upstairs need to be power washed. There’s wads of hair and yuck on them.
