We loved the breakfast prepared by the owner every morning. The southern food, such as sausage and Gullah baked grapefruit, is delicious and the conversation with the owner and other guests is very interesting and informative.
Gullah baked grapefruit with special antique (over 100 years) silver spoon.

This is a beautiful, historic, house. Doc was a treasure, offering suggestions for enjoying Savannah to the fullest. He served delicious breakfast, which always featured treasured recipes from Savannah’s past. It is perfectly located, within walking distance of historic downtown as well as the Riverfront shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and gracious hospitality.

Parking was on the property and secure. The house is absolutely beautiful with many antiques. Breakfast was always delicious and included a history of what was served. The best part of our stay was "Doc", the owner. A genuine representation of Southern Hospitality. We look forward to going back. Wonderful staff.

Excellent overall experience. Will definitely visit again. Classic 19th century house filled with beautiful antiques thoughtfully placed. Lord of the Manor “Doc” and his wonderful staff enhance the overall experience. Breakfast is a delightful taste of old Savannah cuisine. Location couldn’t be better. Southern hospitality at its best!
