The Marshall House is a fantastic stay if you’re visiting Savannah, GA! It has an old charm, and also a storied history that goes back to the Civil War, where it was used as a hospital, so there are plenty of ghost stories floating in the air.
It is also in a perfect location, walkable to River St, and the city market within 10 minutes.
The room itself was very quaint, and had history itself, to the large armoire that is at least 75 years old. The bed was comfy, although ours did have a slight droop on the left side, this could have been from the flooring, which was historic itself, or the bedframe/boxspring, either way it’s there.
The bathroom was nicely redone and very clean.
That staff of the Marshall House were always very welcoming and helpful any time we went or came back.
I highly recommend a stay here to everyone!
