A dynamic mix of local families, young professionals, and students, our neighborhood has a unique flavor all its own while remaining deeply connected to Savannah's rich cultural heritage. We're close to Forsyth Park (8 min walk) and downtown is a short drive away (6-14 minutes, depending on the time of day). In our immediate surroundings are funky antique stores, cute restaurants, and mom and pop shops. The ideal setting for city exploring. With that said, you have to be the type of person or group that is comfortable in a transitional neighborhood. Renovations are happening all around this historically working class community because of its central proximity and vibrant culture. As with any city neighborhood, common sense is the rule as far as safety is concerned.
All guests after booking will receive a list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by foot, bike, or car. Our off-street parking makes driving a convenient option, and the city has plenty of bike rental outlets available. Our neighborhood is also eminently walkable; take a stroll to the Farmer's Market at Forsyth Park or experience local gastronomy at great restaurants.
