The staff was very friendly and helpful. The building and decor is a little tired and could use some updating. The view from our room 202 was excellent. But you and easily HEAR everyone and thing. The door to #202 must be fixed. It sticks so it makes a lot of noise opening and closing. The room was clean, shower very large and nice. Adequate experience in facility. Beach access was wonderful!!!

10th Annual Tybee Island Redfish Tournament .

Our room had an oceanview like advertised. Excellent room, Excellent location and fantastic price. Stayed here for the 10th Annual Tybee Island Redfish Tournament. Excellent location and will stay here again next year. Bonus it was the same weekend as the Tybee Island Pirate Festival which was amazing.

We booked a room here last minute. They were very accomodating of our late arrival. The room was excellent and exactly what we were looking for. I was surprised how easy it was to access the beach. I would absolutely stay here again!

This Hotel is very old and it shows. Upkeep of the property is minimal at best in order to keep it open. Not a huge deal breaker and probably worth the low prices charged which reflect the conditions of this facility as a whole. The close beach access was a nice perk. There was plenty to do or not do on the Island and we had two wonderful and entertaining dinner meals while there.

On Thursday, about 4pm, We unloaded car and got into the elevator. We ended up being STUCK for approximately 10 minutes before help arrived. It was miserable as there is no ventilation in the elevator, and my girlfriend and I nearly passed out. This experience was a first for me. On Friday, I left the premises for a few hours, leaving my girlfriend to nap in the room. I placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. While I was gone, someone (a black male) banged on the door very loudly, waking up my girlfriend who was very frightened. She asked the man what he wanted and he said he was from house cleaning, and wanted to know if the room needed cleaning. She had to initial his check-list. The next day (Saturday), we both were gone and noticed upon our return that the trash cans were empty, even though the "Do Not Disturb" sign had remained on the door. Either "house cleaning" is reading -challenged, or your policy stinks ! I reported all the above to the hotel desk when I checked out Sunday @ 11am.

The desk staff is slow. The place hasn’t been updated in forever. The door to the bathroom just clears the toilet by a smidge. The tv sound was going in & out and was in Spanish. Didn’t even try to get someone to fix it st 8 pm if my techno hubbie couldn’t. Free breakfast was nothing fresh. Kid boxes of cereal and small Entemann like pastries.Definitely way too expensive for what you get.

The staff was very nice & accommodating. Nice access to the beach & chairs/unbrellas available for use. The hotel was dated and could use a good cleaning but the beds were comfy & sheets & towels were clean. We didnt eat breakfast so cant comment on that.
