Hamilton Estate - 8BR Historic Downtown Estate with Courtyard &Parking

This is the historic Hamilton Estate circa 1868. The house is preserved in its beautiful antiquity, but it has all the modern amenities built within its southern charm. The property consists of a 5 bedroom main house and 3 private suites on the garden level. There is also a large courtyard, parking for 2 cars, shared plunge pool and smart TV`s in every bedroom, and all bathrooms have clean Public Goods products.

The home features 4 main bedrooms with king beds and a bonus bedroom with a double bed. The bonus bedroom is through the master bedroom but has a door for privacy for a total of 5 bedrooms.

There are 3 individually styled suites with private entrances, kitchenettes, and bathrooms on the garden level that connect to the main house through the courtyard.

The home is styled in era appropriate furniture and antiques, and as much of the original character has been preserved while modernizing everything up to the comforts and efficiency 21st century guests would expect.

All bathrooms come with a full suite of Public Goods bath products which are free from harsh chemicals, scented only with essential oils, and vegan. Everything is there from shampoo to bathwash, etc.

The main house kitchen is stocked with a complete set of Green Pan`s highest grade cookware, full bar set, hand mixer, blender, American Standard bakeware, and all the odds and ends. The suite kitchens have drip coffee makers.

There is off-street parking for 2 cars in the garage as well as metered parking on the street.

The courtyard and plunge pool is shared for the whole property. There is also an outdoor shower and courtyard bathroom. You have 2 private balconies on the main and second floor of the house.

The garage parking is exclusive to the main house.

This house is in the very center of Downtown Savannah`s Historic District and walking distance to everything.

Visitor Parking Passes:
If you need more parking, parking passes can be purchased $14.00 (1 day) and $24.00 (2 day) you can also pay to park for $24.00 a day.. The Visitor DAYPASS is available at Mobility & Parking Services, 100 East Bryan Street, Monday - Saturday, 8am to 8pm. For more information call Mobility & Parking Services

-Noise is a big deal in Savannah. The City Ordinance states that a sound can`t be above 50 decibels (dB) between 7 PM and 7 AM for residential homes. This is a conversational volume.

-Any courtyard or outdoor area must be vacated by 10 PM Friday – Saturday and 9 PM Sunday – Thursday out of courtesy to the neighbors and other guests. This is also to comply with the City of Savannah Noise Ordinance. It is our main concern that you truly enjoy your visit to Savannah. The city will assess heavy fines for violation of the noise ordinance.

-This is a lodging-only property. No parties are allowed on the grounds except for events utilizing the whole estate and where the owner grants a permit.

We cannot accommodate late check-outs and need you to please observe the designated check-out time (11 AM). This is a large property, and the place must be cleaned and readied for the next guest, and our cleaners work on very tight schedules.

-We cannot accommodate early check-ins for the same reason. If you need a place to store your bag before your designated check-in time of (4 PM), you can drop your bags off in the room any time after (12 PM)

-Please always remove shoes in the house. This helps with noise for any guests that may be below you, protects the floors, keeps the home clean, and is a simple rule that helps everyone.

-Smoking is never allowed on any part of the property, courtyards, garages, or patios. Would you please leave the premises if you need to smoke? Savannah is beautiful to walk around.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in an unbeatable location! It’s situated in a fantastic part of the city — just a short walk to the river, downtown shops, and nearby parks, which made exploring incredibly convenient.The house itself is spacious, comfortable, and perfect for larger groups. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather in both the living room and dining area, making it easy to relax and spend time together. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and all the essentials we needed.Communication with the hosts was seamless from start to finish. Check-in and check-out were clearly explained, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We especially appreciated their honesty and kindness when a member of our group accidentally left an item behind — housekeeping found it and they promptly arranged to mail it back to us.We highly recommend this home and host, especially for larger groups looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality!
