Location
The apartment is in a smart, chalet-style residence in the charming village of Grangesises, just a 5-minute drive from the resort of Sestriere. The surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning all year round.

Sestriere, which hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics, has so much to offer. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing. There is even an outdoor swimming pool (heated) which is open in the winter and summer months.

Summer visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming. The area also hosts many festivals and events for all ages, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings.

There are many great restaurants and bars in Grangesises and Sestriere, which will suit all tastes and budgets in the area. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities.

Turin airport is a 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from the apartment.
