The property is located 200 meters from a working farm, so you'll sometimes see tractors and harvesters in summer.
Saulges is a "Petite cité de caractère" (small town of character) (village, churches, Merovingian necropolis). The Erve Valley, a Natura 2000 site, is also renowned for its prehistoric caves. The site will delight hiking, mountain biking, and trail running enthusiasts: varied paths, varied escarpments, Japanese steps, and a climbing site with the FFME label. Not to mention the Prehistory Museum: workshops and activities for young and old.
Shops and services: in Ballée (6 km) or Vaiges (13 km). Hiking trails depart from the cottage. In summer, swimming is possible near the Saint-Céneré oratory (3km). *NOTE - Spa: exclusively reserved for people over 13 years old. Showering is mandatory beforehand for hygiene reasons to conserve water and preserve resources. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a €70 charge. Living areas, games room, 3 bedrooms, bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet are on the ground floor. The threshold bars are not flat.
Contact the owners a few days before your arrival to arrange your welcome. If you have not selected the cleaning option, the €140 cleaning fee must be deposited upon arrival. It will be returned to you at the end of your stay, once the property has been left clean.

The gîte is located on the D130, between Chéméré le Roi and Cossé-en-Champagne.
From Chéméré le Roi, pass the Moulin de Thévales, continue on the D130. Do not take the direction of Saulges. Continue on the D130 for 1.5 km. The place called Marpalu is on your left. Walk 300 meters, the gite is the 1st house on your right.

If you are in the village of Saulges, take the direction of Val du Maine by the D235. Then, at the junction with the D130, take the direction of Cossé en Champagne. This will be the 1st road on your left, drive 300 meters, the gite is the 1st house on your right.
End of stay cleaning is included.
