Soft Launch Deal: Butterfly Bungalow Studio

Soft launch special: you're one of our very first guests, so we're offering low introductory prices. Just 5 minutes from Exit 20 off I-87. The inside is brand new, 100% finished, spotless, and fully outfitted. The outside is honest chaos right now: yard mid-overhaul, no grass yet, and workers may be around by day. This home is untested, which is why it's a deal. If anything isn't right, tell us and we'll make it right.

Note: true tiny home, 14.5 in shower entry (see below). Unlimited hot water.

Guest access: This listing is for renting the entire studio. Guests have access to the indoor and outdoor spaces, with parking in the shared driveway.

Shower width: inside, it's a normal size (the base is a standard 32 by 32 inches). The one quirk is the entry: the glass doors could not open to their full width, so the opening is 8 inches narrower than usual. It's 14.5 inches to step through. Once you're in, it's a regular shower, and our large frame contractor got in. If a narrower step-through opening is a concern, or you have limited mobility, we're happy to help you decide before you book.

Hot water: brand new high-capacity propane tankless system, installed August 2026. Unlimited hot water, and no waiting for it to recharge.

Fire station nearby: the station sits on the corner. If a daytime call comes in you may hear the siren from the house. The department does not sound the alarm at night, so evenings and sleep stay quiet.

Arrival note: the driveway is on Route 212, a busy road, and it sneaks up on you. Slow down early, use the fire station on the corner as your landmark, and park on the right side of the shared driveway.

The neighborhood: we sit right on the Saugerties/Woodstock border, on the stretch of Route 212 that connects the two: the village of Saugerties (shops, restaurants, the historic lighthouse) is about 8 minutes east, and Woodstock's village green is about 12 minutes west. It's a quiet, countryside spot with two famous Hudson Valley towns as your bookends. You'll want a car up here; parking is free in the shared driveway.

SAFETY and PRIVACY: There is only a camera pointed at the driveway, to monitor for packages and other security matters. It records sound, but cannot see or hear inside either unit.
