We booked this last minute and it was a perfect gathering place for our family while visiting my mother in law in Satsuma. Inside was spacious and clean. We couldnt believe how well stocked it was. The location is peaceful and we enjoyed some fishing, bird watching and nighttime fires.

Parking was easy and spacious, allowing room for several vehicles. The home was clean, well maintained. Plenty of kitchen equipment, spices, etc. The host is very gracious and communicative if any questions or concerns (we had none). Overall great experience with plans to return in the future.

Alaqua Boys Spring 2025 Fishing Trip

Quite community with friendly neighbors, easy access to town and waterways. Great communication from owner. Nicely appointed property with everything we needed for our stay. Games and gaming table for when the sun went down and weather moved in during our stay was nice addition. Fire pits, covered patio and carport, fish cleaning station, and convenient water access for outdoor activities. Boat launch at Georgia Boys less than a mile by vehicle or boat. Easy drive for a day in St. Augustine just little over a hour.

This house was sparkling clean, well laid out , everyone has there own privacy, unlike a lot of the houses we have stayed in down here. We all love everything about this place, very safe neighborhood, boats are protected from wind and waves, plenty of parking, 2 or 3 minutes and we are in the river fishing. This makes our 4 or 5 trips staying here, never had any problems that we or the owner didn't take care of, we hope we get to stay on all our trips in the future, we make this trip twice a year and some of my group has been doing this for the past 20 years. So when I say this place is the absolute best I know what I am talking about. We always catch fish and have a blast when we are staying here. The owner is an absolute sweet heart, she has always went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable. I have just gotten home from here and can't wait to go on our next trip.

This is a great place to stay. The host was very easy to communicate with as I had several questions before our trip regarding space to park boats, trucks, and trailers, as well as different amenities. This place is loaded with all the amenities from pots to use for low country boil, keurig coffee maker, coffee pods stocked up, a gas grill, fire pit, air fryer, and many other kitchen amenities. There was also a complimentary smores package left for us to use. The beds were comfortable as well, which seems to be a rare thing in short term rentals. We were able to park four trucks and boat trailers in the driveway and put four boats at the dock area. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to stay here again should we find ourselves fishing this area again.
