We had a great stay overall and appreciated both the beauty of the property and the responsiveness of the hosts. The view truly is as stunning as pictured and was one of the highlights of our trip. Communication was excellent - questions or requests were handled quickly and reliably via WhatsApp, and checkout was very easy.A few things future guests should know: January and February can be quite windy. The wind caused water from the pool to blow up and made pool use pretty difficult after about 10 am, and we also noticed some rattling doors in the main bedroom due to the wind. There is a groundskeeper who comes by discreetly; he was very kind and helpful (and only speaks Spanish), so don’t be alarmed if you ever see him. A friendly cat also stopped by every morning, which we enjoyed.The house was thoughtfully stocked with beach towels, toiletries, and even reusable shopping bags (which aren't free at the stores). The filtered fridge water was excellent and honestly better than the bottled jugs provided. Wi-Fi was reliable in the main house but did not reach the casita. The casita has its own water heater, allowing for multiple showers at once, but simultaneous showers in the main house were challenging. We did encounter quite a few large bugs in the casita, so additional spray or traps would be helpful. The dishwasher didn't work so well; hand-washing was much better. The stove and oven looked intimidating at first but functioned well once we got used to them.
