My room was very clean and was in excellent condition. It was rather small, and had only one small window that overlooked a parking lot behind the building, apart from a frosted window in the bathroom.
I slept well.
The hotel does not offer much in the way of amenities. There is a “no-touch” check-in procedure involving a fairly involved online information gathering procedure including uploading photos of my driver’s license. No-touch means you don’t stop at the front desk. You park in front of your room, enter your private door code, and leave when your reservation is complete. I never met or spoke to a staff member. Some people may prefer this. I can see some advantages, but I thought it was a little unsettling.
As I wrote, the room was clean, and quiet on a Sunday night. If I return to Saratoga, I’ll keep this motel on my list, but I will also look at other properties.
