My wife and I have been using VRBO ( formerly HomeAway) for 16 yers. This is the first negative review we will be giving.Let’s start with an overview as it seems that the owner or the management company never really takes a walk through to see if the condo meets the expectations of it’s guest. A list of issues.1-the listing says 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4. The second bedroom has a single dorm type bed, no window- it is really a closet with a crappy bed in it.2-the primary bedroom has a king size bed in a queen size room. One side of the bed is against the outside wall. Getting out or in requires taking a trip across a platform bed that is very low to the floor. Note to owner-The room with work much better with a queen bed. No extra linens.3-No live TV. If you want to watch TV you need to have the App you want. Not mentioned in the VRBO listing.4-the sofa is old and creepy. The rug in front of it is full of stains.5-There are almost no cleaning supplies. We rented for a month, no broom, vacuum, etc. There is a hand held vacuum which could not be used. It was full of dirt so black we would not even pick it up to look at it.6-The wood floor is not really clean. I badly made the mistake of walking barefoot across it and the bottom of my feet were black. 7-Screen door to balcony is ripped so you could not leave the actual door open for fresh air. 8-very few kitchen amenities. We needed to buy a can opener.Seems like the owner is simply not interested in unit.
