Upon check in the staff stated they were having a hot water issue. "it works but you have to turn on sick and flush toilet" I never got any hot water and the toilet would not flush well taking multiple attempts to get minimal paper to go down (20+).... The room was recently upgrade, it was clean and comfortable although sparcely furnished. I wish I had been notified of the hot water issue before hand and would have rebooked somewhere else

AC unit leaking condensate water onto floor in room, creating a large puddle. Towels where dirty (used them for absorbing up puddle). Front desk personnel not really concerned, just wanted towels back. We decided not to stay due to conditions of room, staff indifference and generally felt unsafe. When we informed front desk that we would not be staying, she just asked for the key cardx and said that was it? Did not ask why or try to make it right. Not even an offer of a refund. This experience has put us off selecting this hotel brand.

The price is good. May not be the Ritz but it is no dump as many of the in town. I forgot my cooler and several hours later I realized once home. Called the desk and they found it and kept it until I returned a week later. For the budget this place is great a little dated Try that at the Holiday Inn wouldn’t have happen.

There was nothing I liked about this property. I ordered a two bed handicap and Travelocity rep didn't get it right.. Ended up with a queen and a roll in shower which the water went out into the whole room making it very unsafe. it was very dirty. Floors had not been mopped in weeks--except for the bathroom floor which was flooded each shower.

I expected better in Venice.

Directly on a major road so it was often noisy. Loud man yelling from a balcony, with Sarasota sheriff’s deputies arriving, making me feel unsafe. No coffee maker in room. One of the beds was unusable as it made noise every time I moved. Next time I’d pay a little more for peace of mind and comfort.
