Summary:
Located just over the bridge from Siesta Key and minutes away from Sarasota’s thriving dining and arts districts, our sunny and cheerful tiny house, Yellow Lifeguard Stand, sleeps four. With the convenience of a hotel, the comfort of a vacation home, and the cool factor of a tiny house, make staying with us a part of your vacation story!

Check in is 3PM - Check out is 10AM.

The Space:
Enjoy your own tiny house while on vacation. The house is located in a tiny house park. Each house is equipped with a kitchenette, full bath and outdoor patio. You can also use our community center to hang out and play billiards or darts. Behind the community center, there is a large deck with lots of seating, fire pits, bar area and outdoor showers. Pets are welcome for a $50 fee.

Guest Access:
Self check-in at 3pm. Door code is emailed and texted 11am the day of arrival and activates at 3pm check-in time.

The Neighborhood:
Located right across the South bridge from Siesta Key. We are about a mile walk to beach access 12 and a 7 minute drive to the public beach area.

Getting Around:
While a car is convenient, you can get around without a car. Bike rentals are available on the key. You can also use Frog Hop to get to the beach and Siesta Key Village.

Other Things to Note:
Tiny houses have smaller water tanks than a normal house. We suggest taking short showers if your group plans to shower one after the other.

Interaction with Guests:
We are available thru messaging everyday until 9pm.

It’s a great spot for a short stay. The bedrooms were fun - lofted and worked a treat. Plenty of towels which was great and a really nice space outside. Added bonus was super easy recycling. Parking was easy and it was a close drive to Siesta beach with its free parking. The kitchen was adequate, fridge, microwave and a two plate hob which was tricky to use and one ring burned out leaving us with one ring for the remainder of our stay! So plan on doing mostly eating out. There are loads of great restaurants close by so it’s a great excuse to explore. The exterior looks like it could do with some work on the patio side, be aware that one of the bedrooms has the air con unit literally just above the bed which is not ideal it would be great if that could be moved. Overall it was a good stay, great spot and a fun, novel experience.

First of all this review is for the sanddollar unit as there was an error in my booking and it got switched. The host was very responsive. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. The property is a four minute walk to a shopping center with Marshalls, World Market, Publix, and Five Guys to name a few. We drove about 15 mins to the main parking lot for siesta beach, so all in all the location is very convenient.

the Tiny House is so cute! We loved the tiny house and surrounding area - we were able to walk to dinner.Negatives - the cutting board was dirty, location was as advertised but still a drive to the beach, and the 2nd bedroom ladder & stairs were steep but glad there was traction for stability. Great community space but ice machine wasn't working.

Fun, clean, and perfect location!

First time visiting Siesta Key and I thought it would be fun for my daughter and I to have our first experience traveling together staying at a Tiny House. This place did not disappoint AT ALL. The space was fun, functional, clean, and in a prime location. It was easy to navigate to the beach and local shopping. Quiet and safe neighborhood and private. I will definitely be returning to this property for future stays in the Siesta Key area.

We were just passing through Sarasota so it was okay. As mentioned above a few small improvements could do wonders. The baseboards were dirty and in need of improvements. There were soft spots in the floor. I would not want to stay there more than one night. With the tax and fees it was pricey for what you got.

Cute Cute Cute

This was our first stay at a tiny home and we really enjoyed it. This place was so cute. It's time for the rental company to do a little refresh of the house. New pillows and towels are needed. Other than that, we were really pleased with our stay.

We loved our stay in the tiny house. Our kids thought it was so fun. My wife thought it was cute. The manager was very responsive to questions. Only complaint was the a/c unit was difficult to control. Overall, great time.

Located near restaurants and beaches. The place was clean, however the AC/heating unit was not working properly. We were there when it was cool and the heat did not work. We had contacted the host and maintenance personnel did come over, but seemed a little put out. Needless to say we did NOT have heat throughout our stay.

Perfect weekend getaway

I came down from Tampa for a few days and this was perfect. It's walking distance to pretty much anything you'll need; grocery store, breakfast spot, 1mi to the beach. The house is adorable. Things to note: low ceilings (watch your head if you're tall), minimal dishes (brings your own), the Internet is super spotty (bring a hotspot). The area is nice and I walked my dog around a lot. There's also a couple free ride services that work on tips if you get tired or caught in the rain. I will definitely be back!

So cute

We had a dollhouse kids bday party here(we got an a few of the houses) and they had a BLAST. It was also cool to see if we could live in a tiny home. We actually would but more of two put together lol. The only complaint we had was the floor close to the bathroom felt like it was gonna cave in one area. No one did and we were careful walking that area. Hopefully they will be fixed soon but I would come back for sure.

Tiny House Vacation

My husband and I were pleased with the convenient location, modern design, and cleanliness of the property. We left behind a full length mirror, beach chairs and a soft sided cooler in the patio area in hopes that other future guests could use them as we were unable to fly them home with us but found them necessary to purchase to make our stay more enjoyable.

Great for family with elementary aged kids

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our kids (ages 4 and 6) absolutely loved the concept and decorations. We parents appreciated that we had a sitting area to hang out in that is slightly separated from where the kids are falling asleep (unlike a traditional hotel room). The kitchenette is helpful, although not really up for a full meal prep. Great stay, thanks!

Tiny House Stay
