Pluses and minuses

The condo was very clean with a comfortable small queen bed with a very nice shower. The proximity to siesta Key is about a mile and a half walk from the unit to the public beach. The ad for the unit is a little misleading saying that it’s within walking distance. And my wife and I are both in our 70s and walking a mile and a half with beach chairs and umbrella is not naturally realistic. The other problem being so close to Siesta Key is traffic all day long is very congested, and unless you get to the beach very early in the day, you will not find public parking to the beach, and we had to go elsewhere. It was a little challenging because we were staying for two weeks, and that we really could not cook at home, as there was no stove top nor oven nor garbage disposal nor dishwasher. The unit came with two hot plates with a microwave oven and I think there was a hot air fryer. Consequently we ate most of our meals out. The sofa in the living room is one of the more uncomfortable sofa is that I have ever sat in. Literally once I got into the couch, it took a while to get out. It is the most mushy, uncomfortable couch, not a great one to sit there and watch television. The items within the unit, such as silverware and knives were adequate, if not average, and the dishes and glasses were sufficient. The television is a smart TV, however, it’s not attached to a cable so we were not able to watch live TV meaning we could not watch the Oscars, we couldn’t watch morningnews programs
