We had an awesome experience. The hotel staff are super helpful and friendly, fluent in English. There’s also a poet hidden I the room to be discovered. In all, highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Royal Park Canvas at Odori Park! It was such a conveniently located hotel with so many station entrances nearby. It was also a short walk to major shopping streets in Sapporo. The rooms were very clean and quite spacious for Japan standards! We also loved the lounge and the amenities such as the coin laundry. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again at this hotel when we revisit Sapporo!

We to unfortunately cancel our trip due to a family emergency. We missed cancelling this hotel and the day of check in was charged our full stay. The hotel staff did not reply to any correspondence I sent and hotels.com staff tried to help but then advised nothing they can do. Hotel is not replying to my email at all. No reasoning or reply from the hotel at all. I understand policies but there has been no consideration of my circumstances.

Love the aesthetic of the hotel Love the location, in front of Sapporo TV tower and underground Odori Park station. Nice lobby and lounge area for hanging out by the warm fireplace. Room quite small, be warned. We had to pay to upgrade to the suite on 11th floor because there was no way we could open our luggage and still walk around in the room.

Staff were courteous but rooms were incredibly dusty and AC filters were compacted with dust. Every time we were in the room we started getting irritated throats and flem, once we left the room for the day we were very clear. I noted our AC vents were clogged with many layers of dust. Every day we would come back i would wipe the top of my suitcases which had new layers of dust everyday we stayed there for the 7 days.
