The hotel is very clean. The staff is polite and helpful. The onsen and sauna are great after walking a lot during the day. Everyday from 3 to 5 pm, they offer welcoming drinks. I stayed in their Shinjuku hotel before, and this one is just as nice.

Onsen was great. Room had great view with authentic amenities. It was at the center of the city which made it easy to visit lots of attractions. The pricing was very reasonable. Everything was quite perfect.

Room was very nice, ryokan style, comfy bed. Staff was friendly as well. Decoration of the hotel was excellent. Compared to the other hotels ive stayed at, convenience, parking and onsen amenties fell short. Quite a far walk to the station. Parking is limited, so had to park overnight at their suggested spot fot 2,600 yen/night (my other hotel was only 1,500 yen). Female onsen only had 8 booths to shower (others had at least 15-20 spots) so we had to queue to wait to shower. Hairdryers provided in the public onsen was Refa (loved it!!) but very limited at only 4 dryers with 3 seats. Overall it was an ok experience, would come back here only if i want the ryokan experience.

Yuen Sapporo was such a peaceful and grounding part of our Hokkaido journey. The design is minimalist but deeply thoughtful, blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern comfort. The onsen experience was a dream, especially after long days of exploring. The staff were kind, professional, and quietly attentive. If you're into clean lines, warm wood, and a sense of calm, this place is for you. I’d absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Sapporo.

We came to Sapporo for the first time this June and loved it. This hotel was a great escape but also very convenient to all the areas we wanted to explore. We enjoyed the Onsen, hotel breakfast, and all the details that the hotel spent time to make everything lovely. We appreciated the on site coin op laundry, the baggage service (both holding on site our last day as well as delivery to and from our other hotels). We will definitely stay at this hotel the next time we are here. Hopefully soon!

I liked everything. The hotel is excellent in all aspects. The only thing I did not like is that there is no external ventilation in the room. There is a window but it cannot be opened. It is locked by the hotel management.
