The host was pleasant in all communication but unfortunately after sending all the requested documents for registration to the host that information was not transferred to the building in any meaningful manner. After a very long travel day we were made to stand in the lobby while they tried to find our reservation information and then ended up still needing all the documents over again so they could input the reservation in their system before we were allowed to go up to the apartment. When we arrived in the apartment overall it was not clean. The bedroom walls have black marks all over them, there are water leak stains from the ceiling and on the wall in the bathroom, as well as there being a multitude of insects congregating in the bathroom as well. The water to the bathroom was not turned on when we arrived demanding we fill the toilet from the kitchen sink to use the bathroom, not allowing for showers when we arrived, and any hygiene had to be done in the kitchen sink. Once notified of the issue the host did contact the building management and the water issue was corrected later in the day. For the condition of the apartment, and the lack of amenities in the building it was overpriced. Especially considering the fact that after a nap and a meal we were able to find another rental that was clean for the same price with multiple pools, game room, two gyms, and after sending our documents to the second host were greeted by pleasant doormen who were anticipating us.
