The staff were amazing, so kind and helpful, so hospitable. The property is gorgeous, everything is beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. It was such a comfortable and authentic stay. They also went above and beyond for my daughter's 21st birthday with a surprise when we arrived. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Chile someday.

This is a gorgeous hotel with exceptional service. Our room was large and comfortable. The entire historic property has been lovingly restored and is beautifully maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included in the very reasonable room price and was delicious. They also generously give hotel guests a glass of wine each night. The location is a few minutes walk from the funicular, La Chascona (Pablo Neruda’s house), and many, many restaurants and bars. Other great sights are a short Uber ride away.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great neighborhood! Our room was spotless, we had a bottle of sparkling white as a welcome, breakfast was fresh and delish. The atmosphere of the Castillo Rojo is just charming! Happy hour every day on the patio...just wonderful! The staff could not have been any better!
