Good location

Close to the centre. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was adequate. You have to make your own bed up when you arrive.

Noise in the building was unbearable till midnight. The entrance is far from the street and incline. The beds were noisy and the floor was old carpet The room décor was outdated and dark. The pillows and pillow cases also smell old and oily.

Met my needs

I thought I had booked a single (private) room but it turned out to be a shared room, which was not very clear in the website. Other than that, the location was good, close to the Bus Station, Cathedral, sites, cafes, etc.

La Salle in Santiago de Compostela

In general, good hostel for the price. However, the kitchen is disappointing and practically nothing can be prepared there. There is also not a dedicated basin to wash a few pieces of clothes by hand.

Great stay at La Salle

We had a very nice stay at this hostel. We were pleasantly surprised. Within walking distance to main attractions, comfortable and clean - also pet friendly! Wifi could have been better.

Excellent choice for Camino pilgrims

Hotel La Salle is conveniently located for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago, a short walk from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostella and the Pilgrim Office. Nice rooms excellently serviced. Good breakfast in a bright room.

Clean, good location and value for money

The location is very good. 5 minutes on foot (flat) from the bus station and a bit more downhill to the Cathedral. Easy to find. Half of this property is hotel and half is hostel. I stayed at the hostel on a 4 bed room. Excellent room with private bathroom. The towels were very good, the bed very comfortable and the television was a pleasant surprise, could even play videos via USB stick. The room was spacious, very comfortable and had good WiFi signal. My room was facing a school courtyard so it got noisy in the morning. You could also hear people in the adjacent rooms. Staff was extremely helpful. There's a vending machine with beverages at very reasonable prices. Never saw the kitchen but maybe it does exist. The place is quite big so maybe I missed it. Overall, very good value for money.

Convenient location

The website said there was a kitchen but there was just a fridge and microwave. I prefer to cook for myself than to eat out. Otherwise it was comfortable, quiet, and good value.

Wonderful new find in Santiago

I stay there for one night but I wish to comeback soon the hotel was a lovely find I have been trying to get something near the bus station and the previous stays were not comparison La Salle it's clean people are nice and helpful and the location perfect for the whole city that's the place I will stay when visiting and I will also recommend friends and family
