The beaches of Mataleñas (10 minutes) and Sardinero (15 minutes) are within walking distance, making it ideal for families or groups of people who want to enjoy the summer in a peaceful setting.

We had a lovely stay in Santander. The apartment is clean, modern, and spacious; there were 6 of us traveling together, and it never felt crowded or closed in. It's also in a great location, within walking distance to a grocery store, beach, golf course, and some walking paths, which we appreciated. Due to the heat, we slept with the windows open, and it was a bit noisy at night, with considerable car and street activity. Not a big deal if you're used to city life, otherwise I'd recommend bringing earplugs (some of us did and had no problem). Johnny was a great host, timely with communication, and gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do during our stay.
