This hotel looks nice in the pictures, but it’s actually a bit dirty and rundown. It’s not that bad, but I would rate it at the quality of a Motel 6 and I paid about double the price. Would not stay here again.

A very clean nice place. The decor and cool vibe was a surprise for a highway stop on our drive cross country. Breakfast was great too!!!! Definitely stay here.

The door to our unit would not close/latch. Did not need the key card to get in. You had to lock it with dead bolt for the door to stay closed. Unable for everyone to leave after we brought our belongings into the room due to the door. Anyone could come in off the street.

Check in was a chore, we reserved through expedia, bit upon a late arrival, the front desk clerk ascised there would be an additional $20 per person over the 2 on the reservation. We had 3 children with us, it was and extra $60. After clarifying for 20 minutes, the children stayed free, but it was very frustrating. The beds were springy, but tolerable, the room and hotel were cute and clean. Breakfast had hot eggs and saugage, cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, etc. Overall a decent stay and a good way to talk about route 66 with the kids.
