I stay a lot of places for work, this was particularly bad for the price point. Staff hasn't been able to provide me with a copy of my receipt. There was no working heat in my room mid-October when the lows were hitting 40-45 degrees. It was almost like my room hadn't been looked at or stayed in for months. Thin layer of dust, missing kleenex and no hand soap could be provided....., really low water pressure, only a window unit for a AC. Mini-split remote could not be provided. Just do yourself a favor -- book early enough to stay at any of the other similarly priced hotels or just stay outside of town.

This is such a sweet property...we had a room with a kiva fireplace and ran to the grocery store two minutes away and got firewood. The staff is the excellent and ready to help with any questions. Highly recommend.

This is an older hotel that is filled with charm, especially the art on the walls. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms were recently refirbished with beautiful travertine slab counters and travertine tile in the large shower. Special mention to the staff. ManagerJay, barkeep Hunter and the room service ladies all made our stay delightful.

Staff closed the restaurant claiming they had no hot water yet the hotel had hot water everywhere. They did not have live music because of hot water. Really? 2 top reasons in their website To stay there and they provided neither.

The most amazing thing at the Inn at Vanessie was the food. The chicken enchiladas were fabulous. Breakfast was a delightful surprise. We were expecting coffee and a pastry, but it was a full buffet breakfast, and was very good. The room was ok, but the lighting in the bathroom was almost non-existent. The bed was firm, but comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The place is beautiful that’s for sure loved the charm and aesthetic. Staff very friendly and the breakfast was great! The refrigerator was extremely small nearly enough to fit leftovers which had a glass door on it and LED lights on 24/7 which was ridiculous sleeping at night. The door to the Zuni room was glass and had a cheap plastic blind over it which offered no privacy from the outside. From standing outside at night looking into the door you could see into our room.
