Fantastic Experience

A fantastic experience -- what a good-quality should be. From the central location to the attentive service to the romantic balcony to the little touches (like the stuffed bear on the bed), the Inn at Loretto was the cornerstone of our wonderful visit to Santa Fe.

Santa Fe trip

Our hotel was centrally located in the center of Santa Fe. Our room was spacious, although it did not have a proper dresser for clothes, just two slide out drawers under the t.v. Our allergies acted up with the carpet inside our room.

Great location and a very walkable area. Walls in rooms are very thin and you can hear people talk in the rooms next door. Bathroom had lots of mold in the shower. Pool is gorgeous but the staff is lacking at pool area.

We had a great stay with only a minor issue or 2. Bar was a bit low in service as we received minimal attention/ beer was just barely cold enough/ chips stale/ server was unwilling to make other adjustments to our disappointing experience with snacks. TheSpa was amazing. Natasha was the best ever!

The location is a real plus, close to shopping and restaurants. The parking by valet is so convenient. Every member of the staff is most accommodating. The bar is a great gathering place. Our room was clean and quiet and the bed very comfortable. We’ll be back!

We had a mixed experience. The hotel itself is lovely and in a great location. The food and service in the restaurant was also nice. But, our experience with the front desk, was repeatedly disappointing. We booked a Terraza room (with terrace), but were given in a Pueblo room with no terrace that overlooked a parking lot. When I realized this, I called and was told there were no Terraza rooms available (despite having booked it two months prior). The front desk representative then offered to discount the room (but gave no specifics) since he said the hotel was fully booked and there were no rooms with a terrace available. When I expressed that I would prefer a room with a terrace as we booked, he suggested that we could enjoy the view from the 'terrace' of the restaurant instead. We were surprised when we arrived at the restaurant that it was on the ground floor, and the 'terrace' was just a patio with no view. Then, when we went to check out, we called to request assistance with our luggage and have our car brought around. We were told they would not be able to bring our car for awhile as they were busy, and were also not allowed to call for the car until our baggage had already been brought down. When we got down to the valet, it did not appear busy at all, just one other car. Lastly, don't place a stuffed animal on the bed, unless it is a gift to the guest. Four Seasons hotels do this and it is a lovely gesture. But, the fine print read you would be charged $35.
