The breakfast burritos were good, but the hotel had very dated decor, wasn’t particularly clean, and was extremely noisy. When you walk into the lobby, there’s a two-story open atrium. As a result of the acoustics from the atrium, the noise from conversations at the front desk echoes throughout the atrium and is very loud in the nearby rooms. The desk staff are apathetic (both about the noise and everything else). Fortunately, though, the housekeeping staff were very responsive.

The employees at this beautiful redone property were extremely helpful and the reason we will be returning. We were in a bind and needed a room for the night unfortunately we didn't realize that Expedia wouldn't let us check in until 4 PM. We arrived at 1am because I was sick and unfortunately, we live 40 minutes from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Being that Expedia did not want to give me a refund. The general manager at the hotel was able to come up with a solution that worked for both hotel, Expedia and myself most importantly. I appreciate the effort that was put into our stay, especially the accommodation and we felt heard. Not only did we feel safe slept comfortable and really enjoyed the breakfast we also were treated with dignity and respect our problem wasn't only our problem. The general manager and night auditor were truly outstanding providing the ultimate customer service. Who should receive kudos for this with the owner!

While it has been somewhat updated it's older and smelled older. Not bad, not good. Couple of mntce issues that wud require fast, easy fix. No microwave in room. I encountered a res issue of my own error and Robyn jumped all over it and helped fix it rt away and got me the hook up. Kudos!

Coyote South combines ambiance and value

I enjoyed the breakfast items offered, particularly the breakfast burritos. The hotel offered laundry facilities which made it easy to do laundry - download the app for convenience. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shuttle van is a great amenity and conveniently drops you off at Santa Fe Plaza and picks you up when you call for the return. The hotel gives you great value for the price. What I really liked is the artwork, especially in the lobby. Stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it.

Black Mold

The room had bad black mold in the bathroom grout and the carpet was grungy and sticky. I had to leave after being in there for an hour because the mold made me so ill. In the last two days I have placed multiple calls to the property requesting a refund since toxic mold is a serious health hazard. I have yet to hear back from the manager or from hotels.com.

Affordable boutique style hotel.

Coyote South was a pleasure! The decor was charming, similar to a boutique hotel. The decor was amazing and stylishly southwestern. The free breakfast was homemade and delicious! The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend staying if you're in Santa Fe.
