Aside from staff being very friendly and the easy parking the rest of the stay was very disappointing. Bed smelled like body oder and the ac/heater machine that is attached to the wall had cracks on the edges and you can see the street and feel the freezing breeze through them. You can hear everything through the door. The floors were not cleaned and my white sock immediately turned brown from the bottom. Walls were dirty with splatters of some sort. Never again. I’m sorry for the reviews but I have to let other possible customers know.

The man and young lady at the front desk were pleasant and professional when I checked in. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was quite unpleasant. The room and building seems quite run down. The entire place (hallway and room smelled of a strong, unpleasant odor of cleaning solution, the bathroom smelled strongly of urine, and the bathroom sink was backed up (drained very slowly) and unclean (with hair sticking to the walls of the sink). There was a dark and unsightly view out the windows, because about one feet in front of the windows was a chain link fence with trash strewn against the fence, scraggly dusty bushes, and an asphalt parking lot beyond (and at night, someone in the parking lot, was hanging out against the fence talking to himself, and making loud, weird, crazy sounds). The walls are thin, so the guy upstairs who stayed up all night on the phone and dropped stuff on the bare laminate floors, made for a night of little sleep. There was a power outage in the area for a few hours, so the room went entirely dark, but no one bothered to check, to see if I was ok. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve a mini bicycle light from my car to dimly illuminate the room. During this time, there was no heat or ventilation in the room, and the food stored in the fridge was not cooled. ...And the security door leading into the building was propped open.

The office was open (1700) but no one in the office when I went to check in. Rang the bell for 15 minutes and called the local phone # which I could hear ring loudly in the back room. Chatted with Hotels.com chatbot trying to get in contact the property....While chatting, I could hear the phone ringing and ringing and ringing....finally the clerk finally came to the desk....seemed like he had just awakened (time was 1725)...got checked in went to room...room was very clean. About 4 hours later went to take a shower.....no hot water....let water run for 15 minutes; still no hot water. I called the desk (21:00) and there was no answer. Tried the desk every few minutes after that....finally got an answer. Desk apologized and said to give the water 5 minutes before trying again...15 minutes later the hot water worked. Got an email apology from the property regarding the check-in process. Property offered to give me discount on my next visit....I live 200 miles away and I see no need to return. BTW there were only 6 cars in the parking lot when I left at 0600 in the morning; it wasn't as if the property was so busy that base line customer service levels should have been impacted..
