ドライバーの話によると、かなり治安の悪いエリアだ。とにかく周りが騒々しくてしすごい音量で音楽が鳴っている。入り口には浮浪者が寝転んでいたが、その不動車も、次の日は別の浮浪者が寝転んでいた。風呂場の窓から男女が大声で喧嘩している。想像し、声とけたたましい音楽とリラックスすることは全くできなかった。トランジットのために少し仮眠ができる程度で予約したのだが、目的は達成できなかった。部屋はあまり清潔ではなく、タオルはとても臭かった洗っているのかどうなのかも疑問だった。エレベーターがないので階段で大きな荷物を運んでもらわないといけなかった。頼むとスタッフは気持ちよくやってくれた。滞在者かどうかわからない人がロビーに座っていた。空港からは3000円位かかるので、結局高くついた。リアル南米を楽しみたいタフな若い男性の一人旅にはちょうど値段的でもいいかもしれないが、女性には絶対にお薦めしない。
