Easy check in even though staff was off duty when I arrived, but Calvin emailed very clear instructions and was always quick to respond. Room was clean and comfortable- no frills but gas fireplace a plus. Only negative was that communal coffee/cappuccino machine was not working properly at 6:15 in the morning when I really needed a coffee so I had to wait until one around the corner opened! Great location

A peaceful oasis right off the downtown Santa Cruz area. The room was clean and the lighting and shelving was very thoughtful. We were missing a fridge, but there was ice in the lobby and we had a cooler as we were on a road trip. I also think guests have access to the kitchen refrigerator if needed. The courtyard was so quiet and peaceful. Comfy bed and nice to have windows that open for fresh air. Calvin was wonderful with communication - we felt well cared for here. Thank you!
