The house itself was beautiful and the host along with the housekeeper were very responsive. The pool was not heated as indicated in description. We enjoyed freshly baked bread the host provided during our stay. The bathroom sometimes had a sewer smell and required us to open and air the house out. They will be correcting the plumbing issue that resulted in fresh water flow from the toilet during our stay. They were very responsive in the clean up.

Die Unterkunft war nicht so leicht zu erreichen, dafür aber direkt an der Autobahn gelegen. Die landenden und startenden Flugzeuge hört man deutlich auch in der Nacht. Eine Übergabe hat es nicht gegeben. Die Ausstattung war sehr spartanisch zusammengesucht. Die drei Pfannen sollten direkt entsorgt werden. Wahrend des Aufenthaltes gab es keine Reinigung und es gab auch keine Möglichkeit dies selber zu erledigen. Kein Besen, Staubsauer o.ä. War verfügbar. Frühstück war inklusive. Bedeutete am ersten Tag mehrere Brötchen, Butter und Marmelade sowie Kaffee und Tee als Beutel oder Kapsel. Am dritten Tag lag ein Brot parat. Danach innerhalb der neun Tage und sechs Personen nichts mehr. Der Pool ist wirklich toll, war jedoch tagsüber nicht zu nutzen, weil direkt neben dem Haus ein Felsen abgehämmert wurde. Bei dem Lärm von Morgens bis Abends war es nicht möglich am Haus zu bleiben. Beide Badezimmer in der ersten Etage haben nach Abwasser gerochen. Nicht so schön. In Anbetracht dessen, dass wir fast 4000€ bezahlt haben für 9 Tage war das ganze nicht wirklich schön. Haben bei Expedia um Hilfe gebeten, die uns bis jetzt lediglich einen 30€ Gutschein angeboten haben. Support stelle ich mir anders vor. Nochmals würden wir die Unterkunft nicht buchen. Schade. Ansonsten gefällt uns Madeira gut.
