PositivesIt was cleanIssues1. The accommodation was described as bed and breakfast. No breakfast was provided and when asked no reply was forthcoming so we sorted our selves out. It is not acceptable to advertise as bed and breakfast and then not provide it. 2. Our room was very dark for 2 reasons. The first was that it had no eternal windows. The window looked through into the cleaners store area so our view was of vacuum cleaners, spare crockery and other supplies. Not what a guest should expect to see. The second was that the bulb in our room light blew. We contacted the host who asked us to check the fuse box which we couldn’t find. We were then asked to take the light apart and identify the bulb type. We didn’t think this was appropriate sent the host a photo of the unit. This was on Monday. When we left on the Saturday the light was still not functioning. This is not acceptable3. When we arrived we found that only one of the three rings on the hob was working Other guests confirmed it had happened the previous week. It wasn’t replaced until Thursday. This was not acceptable as we wanted to self cater. In addition most of the utensils were past their best with broken handles on kitchen knives, no towels to dry the washing up etc. Overall we we glad that there was only one other couple staying for most of the week as 2 bathroooms for 10 adults at full capacity would be insufficient and the kitchen would be mayhemThe whole place whilst clean felt very tired
