My husband and I spent a lovely and relaxing weekend at the Upham. We found it quite charming, clean, and quiet. It was also a short walk to downtown State street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was comfortable. We appreciated the wonderful pastries and coffee offered every morning, and the refreshing wine during happy hour. We only wish the A/C in the room was quieter. But other than that, we give this hotel 5 stars. We will definitely come back.

The staff was very helpful allowing me to store my luggage as i arrived earlier than expected. Their restaurant recommendation was great and I enjoyed my lunch. Loved the greenspace in the middle of the compund. Enjoyed a glass of wine from happy hour while taking in the garden and watching the wildlife. Can't say enough about the staff making me feel at home!
