AFFORDABLE. LOCATIONS. Those are the two main reasons to stay here. This is a funky older motel but perfect for what we needed. We used the free beach bikes and the outside deck. Super close walk to State street establishments. Short drive or bike to pier and beach

Given the very high cost of lodging near the Santa Barbara ocean area, the nightly rate was comparitivly low saving us hundreds of dollars. The access to multiple apps like Netflix on the Roku TV was very nice. It is a long, uphill walk from the pier to the motel - don't try it if your not in good walking shape. Wallpaper was peeling in bathroom area and there was some dirty areas around the faucet base - but overall cleanliness was acceptable. The overall lodging experience was more like a motel 6 but the cost savings is good if you're pinching pennies.
