We are driving down the Pacific Coast Highway from Eastern Washington - 2,000 miles thus far - and of all the hotels we have stayed in along the way … this has been by far the nicest. Room is incredible - very comfortable with lots of space, views of the ocean, friendly/helpful staff etc. ONLY complaint is no body wash in shower - could use more soap & tissues in bathroom

Not much to the actual hotel nowhere really to walk around but room was excellent with lovely view of the Pacific from our ground floor balcony. Great food in their own restaurant. Parking is expensive and quite a long way out from town centre would expect this to be free of charge.

The hotel and its staff were generally excellent, especially the valet team. The hotel restaurant, Convivo, was amazing! The only issue we had was a clogged sink but it was resolved on our second day there.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Santa Barbara Inn! One of the things we loved most was the personal touch—they texted us before our arrival and throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. The service felt so thoughtful and attentive. The location couldn’t be better—it’s just steps from the beach, and the beach-view suites are absolutely gorgeous. Waking up to that view made our trip extra special. We can’t wait to come back!

Second stay in this hotel. First time in a sea view, this time in a standard room (round the back overlooking the car park but with a surprisingly good view of the mountains beyond). Rooms spotless and the hotel has a classy feel. Location good (safe and just across the road to the beach) though be aware that the sea view has road and palm trees in the way. Valet parking efficient though on street parking available round the back. The restaurant has a great location and feel outside though the menu had taken a dive since our previous visit and service was annoyingly forceful at trying to push the most expensive possible option at every opportunity. Upscale hotel options are limited in Santa Barbara and I do feel that to a certain extent the Santa Barbara Inn rests on its laurels. By way of example if you want to sit on the beach there’s an independent beach club just down the road. For what the hotel costs and its beach front location a hotel owned option straight across the road would be great. Overall, about as good as it get’s in Santa Barbara. Expect spotless rooms, very good service (except in the restaurant) but don’t expect surprising little extras.

Staff was amazing, parking sucks must use valet which is $28.00 a day plus tip every time you get car. Easy beach access . No coffee in room , must go down to lobby and NO tea for those who don't drink coffee .restaurant Very$$$ and limit menu
