The decor is incredibly cool and stylish, and the rooms—while on the smaller side, which is completely expected for a boutique property like this—were remarkably comfortable and well-appointed. ​The location couldn't be better. It was incredibly convenient to walk to numerous fantastic restaurants and take a scenic stroll over to Stearns Wharf. If you are looking for a cozy, character-filled spot in an unbeatable location, this is it!

We took the Pacific Surfliner into Santa Barbara to catch the Coast Starlight #14 the next day. This hotel is right across the tracks from Santa Barbara Amtrak Station so it was very convenient. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly!

Riviera Beach Hotel was perfect for our stay in Santa Barbara for a family wedding. It was centrally located to funk town, Restaurants, shopping district and the pier/ocean. We walked everywhere. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Hotel staff is wonderful. Location is amazing and walkable to everything. Beware of privacy if you are not traveling with SO, the bathrooms have a clear glass door that does not “close” all the way so your party can see you in the bathroom.
