I know you don’t stock your air b and b with family heirlooms, but it felt like they had spent the absolute minimum to furnish this place. Beds and couch were uncomfortable no TV, chairs that were plastic and felt like they were about to break. It made the stay uncomfortable. No sugar for coffee. It just felt half assed.

Hotel was overbooked and we were turned away. We had driven to Ojai from LA specifically for this hotel stay, but the hotel did not honor our reservation. We had to travel back to LA. This is utterly unacceptable and beyond disappointing! Please see that the payment is refunded promptly. A reimbursement for gas mileage, wasted time and a ruined Holiday weekend is also in order. Receptionist claimed there was an issue with your website and that she couldn’t process the payment due to a recent change in her operating system. She indicated she canceled the Expedia reservation and then asked me to pay again with my own credit card (separate from this reservation). I fear I have been ripped off. We’ll sort this out when I get home.

While the hotel has a great location and was cozy, the hotel add a large amount of hidden fees. I have never come across this before using hotel.com and was quite frustrated the hotel did this. I will probably book somewhere else in the future.

<$100 quality of $263 per night price tag. Good location as it is walkable to many great spots. The place had character but everything was outdated. Sunken bed, thin walls and ceilings, water pressure in the shower, soaps and shampoo…all could use an upgrade to justify the cost.

The staff was courteous and the facility nicely decorated and very clean. It was located within easy walking distance of many places to eat and shop. Our room, was a little of a problem though. The room was clean but…. the refrigerator did not work at all, the shower curtain fell down and couldn’t be put back up and the main lamp in the room did not have a shade on it and other light fixtures were unusable. The patio area outside our patio door was not private. Other people were using it. The ice machine was not working. There was a store nearby where I was able to walk to and buy ice.

Room was in good condition and the property has lots of cute outdoor sitting areas including one for our room. The front desk didn’t have any room keys available so I had to download an app to get into the room which was a whole process with emails and verification codes. I would have much preferred a simple room key. Free parking onsite

Front desk is unstaffed most of the day so if you have issues like connecting to the wifi you will be out of luck. Rooms were averagely clean- didn’t have the attention to basic details like setting the time on the alarm clock or microwave. Hotel seemed empty but put me in a room closest to the Main Street so it was noisy all night. $25 fee for lost room keys (rfid card that probably cost less then a dollar a piece) seemed ridiculous to me.

Sheets were dirty. Front desk had to come to change them. One curtain was missing so my window was uncovered. There was no closet. So not even a place to hang up my jacket. Shower was dirty. If you put your fingers by the ledge, it was black. $254 dollars a night. Was a rip off. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly.
