Room felt skanky, neither TV worked properly and maintenance had no clue how to fix, rolling carts used by room cleaners very noisy on pavement, breakfast was disappointing due to greasy meats, cold eggs, bitter orange juice. Even a friendly staff couldn't overcome the gloomy room and food.

The hotel needs many repairs, cleaning and better furnishings. For example the handicap restrooms near the pool are out service, the firepits in the patio are not working, carpeting in the rooms need cleaning and shampooing. My room had a sofa couch with several tears and the furniture was severely scratched and worn out from animal damage.

All in all it was an ok stay for the cost we paid. The breakfast was not very good, (eggs were mush and not cooked well, hashbrowns were basically mush and gross to be honest). The room wasn't in the best condition, ripped up cushions, the wall paneling was peeling/coming off, and the shower was installed wrong where the neck of it was pointed more towards the wall so showering was awkward. The hot tub looked like it really needed to be drained and cleaned thoroughly, not just adding chemicals to "clean it", the water legitimately looked green/yellowish, and we didn't use either the hot tub or the pool for the 8 days of our trip which was a bit of a let down. Would I stay there again? no, but for the price of doing LA on a budget like we did its alright if you can look past some things, but there are better places around the area. AK was really helpful !

Had a last minute stay after a flight was canceled. We were happy they got us right in and had some toothbrushes (as we had thrown our travel ones away already). Very happy with shuttle to the airport.
