The Majestic palace was so nice and so clean. Staff were so kind and the property was beautiful. Our view was stunning. I will say that the property was farther away from the lively streets and restaurants. But it was a short 20-30 minute walk.

Lovely hotel in a quiet suburb of Sorrento. Walking distance to suburban railway station. Lovely outdoor pool and seating area. Very pleasant Orange/ Lemon Grove gardens. Restaurant very good although a bit quiet (beginning of season). Several good restaurants nearby. Beautiful promenade 5 minutes walk away with stunning views.

2 Fantastic (but pricy) Martini Bars. One on the rooftop with a beautiful view. Order your first and get certified! Lovely gardens to walk around which supplies oranges for fresh squeezed juice at breakfast. Try the cherry tart or chocolate filled biscotti at breakfast. The only drawback is its a good 35 minute walk or 25 euro cab fide from the center of town. Only 10 minutes from the train station. Elegant but not snooty!

This was a fantastic spot to hide away from the tourist bustle right downtown - we were a 15 minute walk to a lot of the busy areas but enjoyed privacy and walking around the beautiful gardens. The pool looked clean, and the bar was actually quite good after a long day of traveling! The only issue is that the location advertised air conditioning, but it was not enabled in our room. Not the biggest deal because it’s spring, but any hotter and this would be a deal breaker. Room was fully redone recently, so everything felt so clean!

The staff at this hotel make you feel like a celebrity. The hospitality is really unmatched. The facility itself is beautiful with a lovely walking ground. Rooftop deck has a spectacular view of the coast and nearby hillside. Location about a 5 minute walk from oceanfront dining. Hotel provided breakfast had excellent coffee and authentic Italian pastries along with meats and cheeses and wonderful service from the hotel staff. Also, dry gin bar was so great! Good cocktails with top notch service. To get to the main train stations and sorrento center plan on a 30 minute walk. Area is safe and quieter than downtown sorrento. Recommend as a good home base for exploring the Almalfi coast.
