Main lodge is probably better maintained but overall rooms need refurbishing quite badly (pics). Service is excellent and staff is very friendly. Common grounds are a wonder.

A truly hidden gem. Gorgeous, tranquil and peaceful hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good - could perhaps have a little more selection but quality of food available was great. Will be back!!

Don’t Book At Sa Talaia

We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel at all. The staff were very unpleasant and argumentative. I do not like to write bad reviews however I would not recommend anyone to stay here. It was the most stressful hotel experience we have ever had. As well, for anyone bringing dogs, please note that they advertise as dog friendly but they 95% of their hotel is not dog friendly.

Perfect relaxing week!

We’ve just returned from a superb relaxing week at this small hotel nestled under the pine trees only 5 mins from San Antonio but a world away from the hustle and bustle of the island, but so easy to find it! The staff are amazing and really friendly, they can’t do enough for you, cocktails by the tranquil pool all day can’t be beaten! Breakfasts are incredible and food is great for lunch or dinner too. The pool is big and never that busy although is open to the public so you get a few days trippers after the peace and quiet too. Ideally you need a car but taxis arrive in minutes too. Easy access to San An and the beautiful west coast beaches but only 15 mins drive from Ibiza town too. Rooms are big and spacious though as others have mentioned the baths could do with replacing with modern showers, but wasn’t an issue at all for us. We visit the island 3+ times each year and have stayed in some of the best hotels there but just wanted something more peaceful and out of the way this time, this was perfect and we’ll definitely be back!! Thanks guys.

Ibiza Oasis away from all the hustle & bustle

The Sa Talaia is exactly what you expect from the photos online. This is a very very nice hotel on Ibiza. It is very secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ibiza. I highly suggest renting car/moto-ped to go around and see the island/beaches. We ate dinner a few times at the hotel and it was amazing! Breakfast is amazing too. Ibiza had a lot of mosquitos so bring bug spray! I'm not sure if it was worse at the hotel because it is in a secluded area but I did get eaten by bugs when outside. There are two cats that run around the property. They are very nice but just a warning in case you don't like cats or are deathly allergic. They are mostly outside but will come into the dining corridors.

Beautiful boutique hotel! The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant was incredible, and our room was perfect. The location is also great, close to clubs, beaches, Dalt Vila, yet quiet enough to really relax. My only critique is regarding the light in front of our room. It was a timed outdoor light that would shine into the room and would turn off around 2 am. On the nights we didn’t party, it was not great since I’m a light sleeper. Apart from that, I loved every single second here!! 100% would recommend and we will be returning.

A fuir si vous voulez vous reposer. Les chambres situées dans la maison historique ne sont pas insonorisées, vous pouvez entendre les vas et viens des autres résidents. Résidents qui ne se privent pas de faire la fête dans leur chambre jusqu’à 5h du matin. Le petit déjeuner est accompagné d’un bruit assourdissant des engins thermiques du jardiner (souffleur, tondeuse, roto fil, etc..) sans oublier les vapeurs d’essence qui se diffusent jusqu’à votre table. Aucun respect pour les personnes qui souhaitent prendre leur petit déjeuner tranquillement. Sur 7 nuitée, nous avons pu dormir et prendre un petit déjeuner seulement 1 fois sans être dérangé. C'est bien dommage car le cadre est sympathique. Les jardiniers devraient s'équiper de matériel electrique qui préservent le séjours des hôteliers. La salle de bain devraient être rafraîchie car les vitres de la baignoire ne sont pas étanches. Le chrome des robinets est passé. Le ménage dans la salle de bain est aussi à revoir. En bref, ce n'est pas un 4*.

Perfect, idyllic vacation experience and setting

This place is absolutely magical. Its serene, tranquil setting makes for the perfect relaxing vacation. The staff works tirelessly to ensure your stay is perfect and they have the best attitude and customer service. They took such good care of me, I felt like I was family. The rooms are immaculate and the bedding and room amenities are high and premium. This is officially my favorite hotel on the island and the prime motivation to continue going back. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

I could not have asked for a more beautiful and tranquil place to relax and work from. I have stayed at hotels all over the island but this is my new favourite. Everything was perfect! The room, the staff, the facilities and the food and drink. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was of a very high standard & the choice was excellent. I am really looking forward to booking again and thank everyone at Sa Talaia for making my stay so special.
