Excellent hotel!

Excellent foods as usual. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked this time so we had bad meals which was very good also. I always stay at this hotel whenever I come to Sandviken.

Fantastic hotel!

For conditions I have to put one star less but overall it is a fantastic Hotel and one of my favourite hotel. Currently they are renovating the hotel so a bit of building works. Still - excellent food/service/spotless clean - a lovely stay as always.

Stunning hotel and stay

This is a suburb hotel, extremely well run with stunning food with nature all around you. I stay in lots of hotels all across the world and this one is something really special. It was my second visit and I’ll certainly be back again. Keep up the amazing work!

Superb breakfast but not so impressed overall.

Well, just booked a standard room at sportbacken. 500m walk from the main building, okej. Pretty expensive compared to other hotels with higher standards for the ”same category” of room, nothing speciell. Expected more for the money Breakfast was superb, very nice. Flatbread pizza in the Bistro was pretty booring. Had a long black straw of hair in the shower and found half of an old grape by the tv control :(

Vi var där vardag mitt i semestertider och tyvärr var inte upplevelsen och lugnet det vi önskade. Bra tyst rum i huvudbyggnaden men det kändes lite små smutsigt. Damm och annan smuts var synlig på sladdar mm till lampor. Ena sängen knarrade väldigt så fort man rörde sig så det störde sömnen. Spat var härligt men här var man tvungen att stå på kö för att få duscha och sitta i en av de varma små poolerna och där tappade man lite av det mysiga med spa. Middagen intogs i större matsalsliknande del där borden stod nära varandra vilket gjorde det opersonligt och högljutt sammantaget. Maten var fantastisk men det var så överbokat att alla fick vänta alldeles för länge på mat och dryck så den njutningen försvann. Vi fick vänta i över en timme på varmrätten efter förrätten och efterrätten kom långt efter att vi druckit ur kaffet vi beställde ihop med efterrätten. Ingen fråga om vi ville beställa mer dryck när glasen var tomma och vi hade minst tre stycken olika servitörer som inte visste vad den andra sagt eller gjort. Frukosten var väldigt bra och den kunde avnjutas ute då vi åt extra tidigt för att få lite lugn. Det är säkert fantastiskt härligt här när det är mindre folk men inte värt extra pengarna för spa å fyrarätters meny då kan man lika gärna bo på ett vanligt hotell tyvärr.

Ett fantastiskt ställe att tillbringa en natt med spa och god mat. Dock är det otroligt dyrt med mat och dricka. T.e.x. 2 rätters med en liten oxfilébit och rostade halva potatisar med en grillad morot och 3 små ostar som efterrätt. 625 kr.

Rena fina rum med allt som du behöver för din övernattning. Frukosten var underbar, många val. Vi uppskattade de amerikanska pannkakorna med hemlagad blåbärs- o hallonsylt med riktig vispgrädde. Goda champinjoner stekta tillsammans med spenat förgyllde äggröran som var lika god. Flera olika drycker att välja på och de hembakta Bryssel kexen var mycket goda till kaffet. Vi gillade omgivningen och naturen runt hotellet som är mycket Hundvänligt. Denna gång hann vi inte med att använda SPA men det gör vi nästa gång!
