Great for kids. Not so good for grownups.
The indoor water park was the main reason we stayed at Great Wolf Lodge and it was the reason we had a good stay. One teenager, four kids, two dads, and one grandma had hours of fun. The water park made up for the rest of the experience being subpar. It seems Great Wolf Lodge cuts a lot of corners (e.g. no place to hang wet clothes or towels in the rooms, no places to congregate and visit with family and friends, very few amenities and little touches that make the stay special) to make the water park the main thing. We noticed that employees didn't smile or talk much to guests. The only staff who greeted us and smiled were some of the housekeepers. We would go again for the kids, but this is not a place for grownups.
