The room I stayed in was clean and the beds were comfortable enough, but the security latch on the door was completely broken off and missing. It was obvious the door had been forced open at some point. There were a lot of bugs around the light right outside the room, and many got inside when we entered. There was no fitness room, just a room with a bunch of paint cans. There were two waffle makers for breakfast, but both were broken.

Good enough for the night

Felt clean, just very old and dated. Pillows were decent but the bed wasn't very comfortable. But for the price it was good for the night. The 2 waffle makers were down for breakfast.

Just wanna say how nice the employees were,especially the young man who check me in,kind,respectful and very informative. Everyone smiled and was welcoming. Very close to cedar point,which was nice! No gym here. Small parking lot in the back,which we could of parked closer to our room.

Room was clean. Breakfast was great. We went to cedar point for the weekend and it was literally 5 min away so perfect location. Only downfalls were the tV worked on Friday when we got there then Saturday and Sunday it did not work. And we came back to the hotel 11pm and later and had no energy to deal with it. Only other downfall was we asked for towels 3 times one morning and never received them. Had to make due with what we had!

Wi Fi was reliable , but someone didn’t pay the cable bill and only could receive local channels on tv. Room was ok but since it is a motel that night time bugs a major issue with lights on and had to hurry to get into room without any following you inside. We were set in the far corner of the motel considering the parking lot was empty when arrived at 5pm Friday. The best saving grace was the water pressure was good in the shower. Several room we saw were disorganized and not put together, mattresses up against windows. Fridge was good and provided great cooling drinks we brought with us. Morning breakfast was standard fare of all hotels. Eggs, sausage, waffles , toast, yogurt, coffee , juice. If you want a cheap stay not caring about the room at cedar point this is your place to stay.

This place is absolutely terrible! Went there to visit the theme park in the area and checked into our room and went straight to the park…when we were done at the park we went back to the room and discovered that our door did not close all the way, went to the office and asked to switch rooms and was told that we couldn’t because they didn’t have anybody to clean the rooms that were vacant so we just had to deal with it. So we had to put a chair in front of our door so we felt safe at night. The linens were dirty, we found old food under the chair that we moved to put in front of the door to feel safe, Internet didn’t work, Bathroom was disgusting. Terrible experience!

I read all the reviews online and I can pretty much honestly say they were ALL correct, both the good and bad reviews. We had pretty much every issue mentioned that I read at check-in. Had to go down to front desk to get keys 3 times because they would not work, which was a big issue because the kid that originally checked us in said they were completely booked and had no other rooms available, so we had to get that door to open, but then another guy came out of nowhere to fix the problem. The door would not open for him either, so he nonchalantly said, "No problem we'll just put you in the room next door." He went, got key cards, came back, opened the door and said, "Have a good night." Both gentlemen were extremely pleasant but almost seemed like good cop bad cop routine. They did fix the issue though and all was well. The parking is a bit of an issue too as they have overflow parking behind the building where it is kind of dark and creepy. I was told to park here even though the regular parking area was almost completely empty at the time, which seemed suspicious to me. Overall, not a bad place to stay if you are an alert person that watches your surroundings and pays attention and if you are only staying for a couple days. I would never let my wife and girls stay here alone. Quite a few shady people and beggars around the building most the time. Gym is storage room for hotel and not usable.

Ideal location to sleep after a long day at Cedar Point. We missed breakfast as we were way to tired to get up. Front desk staff was nice even at midnight. Would stay again for the price.
