This is an older property but good value for the money for those looking for reasonable price and proximity to downtown Sandusky. There are no frills but the room was clean, large and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Avalon Inn was perfect for our trip to Cedar Point. The room had some cosmetic issues, but it was very clean and cold. The staff was friendly, cleaned our room and refreshed our towels. I would stay here again, if we decide to make the trip back to Sandusky.

A very good place to stay on a budget if planning to visit Cedar Point, as it’s located not far from the park. About a 10 minute drive. So very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would stay there again if I go back.
