An awesome place to stay right at the base of Schweitzer Resort!! Convenient location with restaurants within walking, or about a 5 minute drive to Sandpoint. Very clean room. Kind staff. Free breakfast at the restaurant in the parking lot, it was delicious!! Would absolutely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful, they greated us will a smile everytime we passed the counter. Room was comfortable and quiet. Best hot water! We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub at the end of the day. Cant beat the breakfast. We will come back.

Such a great hotel! The indoor hot tubs and pool were great at the end of the long day with kids. We went in January hoping for snow, and got our wish! The hotel has sleds you can rent from the front desk for free and a fun sledding hill behind the pool area. The room was clean and perfect for our large group (we had the Family Suite) and everyone we met was super friendly and helpful. The drive to downtown Sandpoint is less than ten minutes. The free breakfast buffet at the restaurant next door was an amazing added benefit! The man running it was so nice and attentive (without being pushy) and the food was way better than usual free hotel breakfast. (Pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, toast, fruit and yogurt bar) all in all we had a great time and would stay here again!

We have stayed at the Ruby several times since it opened. I like that the rooms are clean, the building is well maintained, the staff is both friendly and helpful. I travel with a large service dog I need for both mobility and balance. The Ruby has a nice fenced and gated dog area. The restaurant is located on the grounds and has a good breakfast free for guests and reduced price for on menu items.Also discount on lunch and dinner for hotel guests.
