We stayed upstairs in the refurbished, newer bldg. where breakfast is prepared. The young lady who runs the kitchen does an outstanding job, cooking excellent hot foods and arranging other items in a nice buffet style. The check-in and checkout procedure is so simple that no staff needs to be involved and paperwork is not required. Afterhours, no problem either. The room is thoroughly clean, but a few minor mechanical issues could use some attention. Overall it's a great B & B that provides an exceptional experience for guests.

The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional. The building we stayed in was old. We live in an 120 year old home but this seemed much older. Our room, especially the bathroom, was small. Be aware the stairwell is steep and narrow which may not be an issue if you do not have to carry large or heavy bags to your room.

Overall house - extremely charming. It was lovely to stay in an authentic house with rich history Check in was really smooth and staff we interacted with during breakfast were really helpful. The barn was a lovely common area and we really liked the breakfast there. One thing to note is that there is no daily housekeeping or maybe it was because we only stayed for 2 nights. Another area of improvement would be an unpleasant smell in the room which would permeate if windows were left closed. Could be attributed to the aging infrastructure. But as a whole, we really liked the charming house, the staff and our stay in Cambria!
