Room was great and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, but was way too high above the ground. I needed a step stool, but none was provided. I’m 5”1. This has never been a problem before. Otherwise we really liked it.

Very, very good choice for inexpensive lodging right in the heart of San Simeon. Walk to restaurants, groceries, bars, and the ocean & beach is right across the street. When I checked in I asked for a quiet room on an upper floor and they gave me exactly that. Excellent front desk service. Room was clean, comfortable, and VERY QUIET. Lots of free parking and they have a hot tub on site also. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Room was clean, the bed was comfortable, price was good compared to other motels, and location was convenient. Check in clerk was not very friendly. All that process he didn't smile nor say thank you. He gave us a map of the motel, marked where we were and marked our room without saying a word to explain. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were horrible. There were 4 pillows on bed. They were tiny, high, and firm. I had bad neck pain throughout the night and in the morning. Couldn't get the tiny TV to work. It turned on but no programs at all so nothing to watch. We stayed on the first floor. We could hear the footsteps above our room. We only stayed for one night. The price was ok for what we got.

Had a side view of the skyline from the balcony but unable to see the ocean. Nice balcony with view of the grassy open courtyard. We had a nice clean updated room on the second floor. The only negative for us was that the cleaning crew did not clean the spider webs on the corners of the ceiling. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and experience and would definitely consider this place again on future visits.

The hot tub and pool were great. Rooms were clean. Staff was mixed. The man at the desk didn't care, wouldn't even look at me when i talked to him and had an attitude. The lady at the desk was really nice and helpful. No extra towels by the pool and none available at the desk. Rooms make noise and you can hear others in their rooms. The put a family with kids on a top floor, which is just dumb.
