This is probably the best 2* hotel that I've stayed at. The location is awesome - across from the beach and a short drive to Hearst Castle, the personnel were all super friendly and responsive, the rooms were clean and quiet, and the breakfast was worth getting up for. On top of this, they have a bunch of necessities available at the front desk in case you forgot yours and are super kids-friendly. Free parking, free WiFi, heated pool, jacuzzi... I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

We needed a hotel for just one night during our trip in California and this hotel was perfect. It doesn’t look great in appearance but the room was large, the bathroom was clean, the water was hot, and the bed was comfortable. The full breakfast exceeded our expectations! Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, milk, yoghurt, bananas, apples, and more with really good coffee and tea. Honestly I felt like we had paid only for the breakfast and the hotel was free of charge! Thank you!
