Our lodging at The View was great. The room was intimate with a sufficient amount of space to maneuver. We had an end room, which gave us a clear view of the pool and dining area. The lighting at night was amazing — the blue LED lights paired with the pool ambiance were perfect for our NYE couples stay. A full-body mirror is definitely needed in the room. I’m rating this a 3.5 because the inconsistency with the breakfast was frustrating. Although breakfast was included, it was not the complete menu — only four selected items and one complimentary coffee. For non-coffee drinkers, that was horrible. The concern isn’t the allocation itself, but the inconsistency between the wait staff. On Day 2, they attempted to charge us for two cups of ice (we had our own gallon of water) and two sides of honey for our “hot water” (our version of tea). After addressing our concern, it was rectified; however, it definitely left us feeling indifferent 😐. Despite the breakfast hiccup, Jose was amazing. He is well-rounded from arrival to departure. Jose was our waiter on Days 1 and 3, and he knew our order as if it were his own. He truly enhanced our overall lodging experience at The View.

Room was clean as a whistle, bright white was a cool refreshing feel. I would suggest a bedside light. The staff was very curteous and helpful. Lots of outdoor seating and a beautiful pool. Food was very tasty at the restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay here while visiting family. The room was very clean and in excellent condition. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful with the check in, showing us to our room. All staff were very friendly. The breakfast was included in our price. We were given 4 delicious choices for breakfast. We also ate dinner there and the meals were prepared with love. Our room was large and we had an ocean view. We would return here again.

I just left the property and would like to give others the heads up before booking this hotel. - The doors to the room are very tricky. You’ll spend a lot of time figuring out how to get in and out of your room. - I paid an upgrade for ‘sea view’ — when I arrived I realized there is no direct sea view from any room. You can see some water from far away between heavy vegetation. All rooms had the same view. - The initial room I checked into had no hot water to take a shower. I brought this up with the hotel and they said all they have is “lukewarm”. In this particular room the AC did not work well. - The hotel moved me to a different smaller room but didn’t want to refund any money. - It is difficult to access the road and it is quite far from El Tunco beach and restaurants. - They do have a beach at the end of street which is full of garbage. The hotel did mention they will hire a company to clean. - Breakfast wasn’t great. - The safe in my room didn’t work. - No phone in the room to contact reception - you’ll have to go downstairs to speak with someone directly. In my opinion, the price per night which is a lot higher compared to other hotels in this area is not a good deal. I will not stay at this hotel again.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Views Resort! The property is modern, clean, and beautifully designed with so much attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome from the moment we arrived. The food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We especially loved the stunning views and peaceful vibe. it truly felt like a perfect escape. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting El Salvador, whether for relaxation or adventure. Can’t wait to come back!

This is an easy beautiful place to hang out and even work quietly. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the popular beaches in the area and still enjoy comfortable amenities and good food, this is the place to be. Still, you're an easy and fast ride away from the party scene in the other beach towns.
