A truly special stay at El Majahual Resort! I had an amazing stay at El Majahual Resort, perfectly located between El Tunco and La Libertad. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home, they treated us like family and were a joy to talk with. Hearing their stories about how life has changed in El Salvador was inspiring and added so much depth to our visit. The property is beautiful and relaxing, with a nice pool, a well-kept garden, and plenty of coconut trees, they even make fresh coconut drinks right on-site! Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with great amenities like A/C, a large shower, and a flat-screen TV. The food was delicious, parking was easy and secure, and service was available 24/7. The only small suggestion I’d make is adding a few more signs to make the hotel easier to find. Overall, this place offers genuine hospitality, comfort, and true Salvadoran warmth. I can’t wait to come back! 🌴

The staff was nice. If they want to attract people from the US. They at least need a blanket, not using a pillow made for a couch, and have at least warm water. The place overall felt dirty, the floors were dirty. Secondly, they lock the doors at 5. And when we didnt get abck before 5 you get locked out so it took forever to get in contact with someone to let us in.

Back in El Salvador at Majahual Resort!

Our first stop for our annual El Salvador trip. We arrived later than usual but enjoyed getting in to rest for our scheduled adventures. We enjoyed our stay and was glad it wasn't too crowded.

Overpriced and under performed

The hotel was rundown and is in shanty part of town. The beach is not the best and was very busy for Semana Santa. The food we ordered from the restaurant was pretty good. The cleaning staff tried to charge us for dirty towels which were just dirty from the black sand from the beach. Overpriced.
